I don’t mean call a meeting. By the time you’ve decided who to call, that’s your 10 mins gone. I don’t mean craft a beautiful and impassioned email to the CEO (cc FO) about how much ROI you could achieve with X or Y initiative. Let’s scratch the initial premise and ditch the HR hat for a minute. You have 10 mins as the CEO. You’re in the boardroom. You have everyone already assembled all ready and waiting, all ears. Your company has 10 mins to decide how to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of HR for better workforce ROI. What do you say? What do you want to do? What do you demand the business does, let alone HR?
Don’t tell me you don’t know, or will have to think about it. If you don’t know now….
PS the ‘PwC 10Minutes series provides PwC's perspectives on critical business issues of interest to senior executives in crisp, to-the-point language and a simple format that requires about 10 minutes of an executive reader's time'.
