What is HubCap?

HubCap is an international non-profit library, publisher, forum, and research network of academics, opinion leaders, knowledge scientists, journalists and politicians who share an active interest and commitment to changing corporate behaviour.

When was it launched?

HubCap was launched Sept 09, and is currently in Alpha.

What are HubCap's aims?

  1. To get too often disparate functions (HR to Finance) and perspectives (East to West), in sync
  2. To aggregate and open for debate new ways of managing, valuing and reporting
  3. To generate and foster an interchange of ideas well beyond the hub and into next generation scholarship, business leadership - even politics
  4. To change the way organisations think, value, manage – even talk – about people

Who are the main people behing it?

Dr Michael Reddy is the founder. Ann Graham, former editor for Strategy + Business, is Managing Editor. Dr Anna Lloyd is head librarian. For the rest of us, click here.

What can you do on HubCap?

On the HubCap business network:

  • Register (free) and create your profile (as much or as little as you like)
  • Check out who else is on the site and make new friends
  • Sign up to regular exclusive webcasts from experts around the world

Iin the HubCap library:

  • Publish documents and articles
  • Search for works similar to yours and open them in our own HubCap Document Viewer
  • Leave comments and start conversations with the author
  • Add favourite items to your bookshelf for further reading

In the HubCap forum:

  • Join discussions on what’s next for people in the workplace covering everything from Managing Behavioural Risk to Conflict in the Workplace
  • Start discussions of your own and engage a rich stream of voices from HR, HC, Finance and Psychology
  • Check out the latest event information from across the network
  • Then follow post webinar discussions to keep the ideas alive

Who are Human Potential Accounting and People Resolutions?

Human Potential Accounting (HPA) is a Human Capital consulting firm offering diagnostic audit tools, HCM business intelligence and consulting. People Resolutions provides strategic consultancy, auditing, training, mediation and investigation services across all areas of HR: engagement, retention, equality and diversity, dignity and conflict. HubCap is the result of these two companies coming together to change the way organisations think, value and manage people.

How does HubCap make money?

We feed and clothe ourselves through:

  • Tasteful billboard sponsorship
  • Developing cool things that we can use on other sites in the Shenley Holdings brand (the umbrella company for HPA, People Resolutions and HubCap)
  • People being interested in HPA or People Resolutions - you never know
  • Any shared revenues we generate through joint publications and events
